The ten lunchtime conversations and two special events invited guests from Carbon Arts’ professional network and public audiences to come together to explore key themes relating to the exhibition and the ongoing research of Carbon Arts. From the state of the renewable energy sector in Australia to the role of the artist in furthering a sustainable society, a diverse set of perspectives were drawn together within a rich narrative that enlivened the space and brought new audiences in contact with the works. All events took place within the Carbon Arts in-residence studio space at Design Hub, 24 April – 15 May, Wednesday – Friday 12.30 – 1.30pm. It is estimated that over 200 people participated in the events. Published here is the original public program promotional text, accompanied by reflective, post-event summaries.
