The Arts & Ecology blog from the Royal Society of the Arts is very regularly fed and provides an excellent update on what’s happening in the world where arts, environment and activism collide.
This blog is from the Cape Farewell expedition to Disko Bay and is not a live, but an historic blog of the artists’ experiences whilst on the trip. A fascinating dialogue is to be found here that sheds light on the artworks that were developed out of this experience.
RETHINK began as a series of exhibitions of artists responding to cimate change that is touring Nordic countries, and now includes an online blog forum, with entries in the following categories: rethink art, rethink nature, rethink politics, rethink sociality, rethink technology and rethink borders. A publication of essays is also available, and the intention is that this will become a periodical.
Arts for COP 15 is an initiative of the Royal Society of the Arts to publicize the efforts of artists responding to climate change at COP15.
